2022 is here and just like every new year, it feels like a fresh start... so let’s start with a fresh face and a few great resolutions! What if we told you that you could help the earth and address your skin concerns at the same time?
This year at Amaré we are resolving to go greener and adopt even more sustainable habits- including composting all hair clippings! This will reduce waste and emissions and also nourish our precious soil. We are also making 2022 a celebration of natural beauty and Aveda skin and body care! We are so excited for you to be on this journey with us as we learn, grow and care for the earth together.
2021 was full speed ahead as businesses reopened and we all adapted to new ways of being. If you are one of the many who rushes out the door- or to your home office in the morning without washing your face (brush some powder on right?) or who falls asleep with their makeup still on... or both, this is the year that habit ends- forever!
Resolving to begin and end each day with a fresh face- even on off days- has immense benefits. You will feel balanced and prepared for whatever the day brings and in the evenings, the day will feel complete and you will be more relaxed. You will experience fewer breakouts and through your rituals over time, experience all of the benefits your skin care offers.
Our team members all agreed that Aveda’s Botanical Kinetics Purifying Gel Cleanser had to be the first product of the month this year! When you take home your try-me size, you will use it in the morning and evening. Simply work a small amount (dime size or less) and work in a circular motion to apply to face and neck. The cleanser can be used on a wet or dry face. Use warm water to rinse! This ensures all impurities are removed and also maximizes the absorption of the nourishing fatty acids. Gently pat dry with a soft towel and complete your skin care ritual as desired.
Regardless of skin type and which cleanser you choose, here are some great resolutions to help you glow in 2022!
*Resolve to improve your physical health- including skin and hair, and your emotional wellbeing by drinking half of your body weight in ounces of water.
